Firelight males live and hunt with their owners but I occasionally breed to them when I have hunted with them and find them excellent in the field and they meet all other criteria and testing.
Mason. Mason is littermate to my Crush and he stood out to me at a very early age. Mason demonstrates the traits that were my goals for that breeding with superb drive, intensity and style yet is still a sweet, gentle house companion. Hunts to the gun and handles easily but was recognized with placements in the two trials he ran as a Derby. 55 lbs, OFA Good.
Ralphie is littermate to Mason and Crush. His conformation, development and overall style is more reminiscent of Ryman-type dogs yet he still has very strong drive and point and has a Derby placement. 57 lbs, OFA Good.
Bart is from my outcross of my Annie to a well known Llewellin sire and is a brother to my Pocket. These dogs maintained the easy to handle and live with temperment but have intense drive and hunt, good foot speed and quick and intense point with strong natural retrieve. 55 lbs, OFA Good
Doc is a more linebred Firelight male but his conformation shows the Llewellin behind him also. Doc is 4 years old now and has developed into a naturally talented and staunch grouse dog as well as prairie birds each fall. Relaxed and a pleasure in the home, he is a strong bird finder with excellent stamina in the field. 63 lbs, OFA Excellent
